If someone in the group has limited mobility you can drive them right to the dock. Great for elderly and younger children! Casa Lago is located on a cove above pristine Watauga Lake with a Large Covered Boat Dock, Sundeck, and swim ladder. Surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of NE Tennessee and approximately 15 miles from Boone, NC and another 5 miles to Blowing Rock. We are also close to Bristol and Johnson City TN. Lake Watauga is one of the cleanest recreational lakes in the country. It is also extremely scenic with the majority of the lake’s 106 miles of shores protected by National Forest. Since we were also renters we know what it’s like not to have a corkscrew, etc. We have tried to include everything you need including linens, dishes, kitchen gadgets, towels, etc. If you don’t have your own water toys, Watauga Lake also has excellent marinas that rent pontoon, power boats, and tubes.
