Designed for family & friends getaways, our 2 bedroom 1 bath home sleeps up to 5 adults on brand new memory foam mattresses, not couches that turn into beds. Our living space is open yet cozy, with a vaulted ceiling, multiple seating options (did we mention the electric leather catnapper couch facing the lake?), and a gas fireplace, so you never have to haul wood. The 65 inch Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV) is perfect for movie nights after a long day on the lake or on the slopes. ✔Prepare for your day with locally sourced coffee overlooking your sunrise lake views. Cook a delicious meal in the fully stocked kitchen & enjoy a sunset dinner outside on the deck or inside the sunroom dining area. ✔In town to enjoy a boat day on the lake? Cabin is right around the corner from Little Milligan Boat Ramp & within minutes of Fish Springs, Mallard Cove, & Lakeshore Marinas, so you can get on the lake faster! We provide a new picnic backpack, a Yeti™ Hopper Soft Cooler & new TN Vols orange portable propane grill for your pontoon day. Don't forget your 1 pound propane tank! ✔Don't care to boat? Our private swimming cove is perfect for those who are looking to jump in the warm lake waters upon waking up or before retiring for the day. ✔Pack a picnic & enjoy a vineyard day at Villa Nove or Watauga Lake Wineries, about 20 minutes away. Get a hike in while you're out & about – check out our list of trails & waterfalls within driving distance in our Guidebook. ✔Looking to play in the snow? Wolf Ridge, Beech Mountain, Appalachian Ski, & Sugar Mountain are all within an hour's drive. Our area of the lake doesn't have cell phone reception, and Internet is dubious. For transparency, here are our check-out requests in case you are worried about having to "clean" the home prior to leaving: 1. put all tied trash bags (no loose trash) in the outdoor trash can & cover with lid, recycle glass & aluminum in black containers 2. wash used kitchenware & leave to dry in sink rack 3. turn off the lights, fireplace, AC, & leave fans going in all rooms 4. place dirty linens in the closet laundry baskets, leave used duvet covers on comforters & place on bedroom floors 5. make sure all doors & windows are locked Please read entire listing, including Additional Rules, and connect prior to booking if you have questions or concerns. The second story apartment is completely separate from the first floor apartment. The first floor apartment is occupied by the owner, and not accessible to guests. The owner may or may not be in the first floor apartment throughout the year. If you are looking to be completely alone on the property during your stay, we encourage you to message us before booking to ensure that is what you get. All pets must be disclosed in your reservation. Pets may not be left alone on the property when guests leave, even if they are kenneled. We provide pet care with advanced notice. Undisclosed pets will incur a $200 charge. The host doesn't control the local weather or the utility companies that service the home. The host is not responsible for force majeure effects on the property, including loss of utilities/power due to weather. You are responsible for providing your own consumables during your vacation. Pets are not allowed to be left at the property, even if kenneled. We provide pet care with advance notice. Undisclosed pets will incur a $200 fee. If you leave a pet in the home while you leave the property, we reserve the right to cancel your stay with no refund, per ABNB regulations. Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited on this property and in the Cherokee National Forest.
