Then relax by the outdoor firepit to end your day with views of the sunset.The spaceThis property is unique in that it’s located on a secluded cove with only two other houses in sight from the water. It’s located at the very end of a rural road down a private 1/4mile driveway. You’ll feel completely private, on the water, enveloped in nature, away from all your cares. -Watch your kids and friends swim from the porch. We have over 400 ft of private waterfront on our 2.8 acre property.-Take two kayaks or a canoe (great in shoulder seasons) to explore the lake.-Grill out on the commercial grade gas grill listening to your tunes on the Bluetooth sound bar, while you forget your cares and make new memories!-- Gather around the bonfire sharing stories of a day on the lake and looking at the extensive views of the water and national forest. Firewood provided free of charge.- Fish from the dock, or take a kayak or your boat down the nearby Elk River. Skiers and wake boarders can easily ski from the cove on some of the least trafficked parts of the lake (not that ANY part of the lake is crowded!)- Rent a boat or paddleboard from the local marinas and drive it right to your private dock. Use our BOAT LAUNCH RAMP to launch your own boat- tie it up to the dock, or pontoons can beach right across from the Chalet.-Fully stocked kitchen with all amenities, and large and small appliances.-All linens, blankets, and bath towels are supplied. Downstairs bedroom is smaller with aqueen bed, end table with lamp, large double hung window, full size closet, and dresser with mirror. Upstairs loft bedroom (with door) is accessed from a spiral staircase. It’s larger with a queen size bed, end tables,lamps, full size double hung window, skylights, and open shelving for clothes storage. The full closet is in the bathroom upstairs. Downstairs full bath has a shower only with luxurious double shower heads. Upstairs full bath has a large jetted tub (for two) with a shower and closet. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Soap is supplied.Guest accessYou'll have full access to the house with a coded lock on the front door. There is also a lockable gate at the bottom of the driveway.Other things to noteThe house is private and rural- bring all groceries and supplies with you, as the nearest fully stocked store is approximately 45 minutes away in either Elizabethton or Boone. There is a local country store/gas station 8 miles away, but it has limited supplies. Cell Phone signal is extremely limited in this area. We have a SPRINT booster and house phone available at the house for emergencies. You'll be limited to wifi (VOIP) calling through your personal phone, Whats App, etc apps if you have a smart phone.
